Burning Sun is a space scroller with elements of RPG and quest. Game is divided into levels, where user moves freely accordingly to a storyline. Burning Sun isn't a simple arcade. There are small number of enemies, so player's tactics and right ship equipment are essential. Each level ends with battle with boss, defense or escort, and other special tasks. Game is event intensive, for example: revealing of unknown debris, messages from main ship, help from allies, background dialogs between characters, secondary quests. Pilot has a possibility to select AI ally. All equipment and new ships are salvaged from debris.
I used C++, DirectX, HLSL, Lua with Visual Studio and 3dsMax, Mudbox and PhotoShop for art creation.
